Est. 2014 · Chandigarh

A small, careful IT firm — engineering done the way it used to be.

Twelve years on, SGIT is still a hands-on practice. The engineer who quotes the job is the one who shows up to do it — across hardware service, web and mobile builds, and managed hosting.

Our story

Started on the bench, still on the bench.

SGIT began in 2014 as a two-engineer hardware practice in Sector 41-D, Chandigarh. Our founder, Sukhwinder Singh, had just left a decade-long career running enterprise hardware desks at a national systems integrator. The pitch was simple: original parts, honest quotes, and the engineer who answers the phone is the engineer who shows up.

Twelve years later, we still run the workshop. We've added a web and mobile practice, a managed-hosting desk, and a field operations team that covers the entire tri-city — but the rules haven't changed. We quote before we work. We document everything. We pay our engineers properly and pick up our own phones.

The reward is a client list that mostly grew by word of mouth, and a return rate north of nine in ten. We're not the biggest IT shop in Chandigarh. We try to be the most careful one.

What we stand for

Four rules we don't bend.

Most of our process is written down. These four are not negotiable.

Honest first, busy second

We quote before we work. If a repair costs more than a replacement, we say so — even when it loses us the job.

Original parts only

Every spare is sourced from authorised distributors with a paper trail. No grey-market chips, no salvage-yard surprises.

Certified, not freelance

Every engineer is on payroll, vetted, and certified — never sub-contracted to whoever was free that morning.

Documented, not improvised

Tickets are logged, configurations are version-controlled, and every handover is written down. The next engineer never starts from zero.

Leadership

The people who sign off the work.

No anonymous corporate voice. The people quoted below are the same people who'll be on your tickets.
